2017 Mazda 6 packed with new technology

Last year, the Mazda 6 Series models received a healthy facelift so instead of altering the body just one year later, the Japanese manufacturer has added new technology for all those inside to enjoy with last years looks.

Inside, customers can choose to have the analogue dashboard replaced with a 4.6-inch digital display for higher clarity and accurate readings as well as safety features such as Lane-Keep Assist, Advanced Blind Spot Detection and Traffic Sign Recognition. All of those are enough to rival any competitor including the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord.

Fabric material can be replaced with Nappa leather instead for a touch of class along, Bose Premium Sound System, Heads up display, keyless go and a whole load more of additional luxurious options.

Upcoming models will utilise Mazda’s revolutionary G-Vectoring Control System and various Skyactiv Vehicle Dynamics that aid the engine, transmission and suspension to deliver better response and reduce steering corrections.

Powering the front wheels is still the same 2.5-litre four cylinder petrol engine rated at around 184 horsepower and is available mated to either an automatic or manual transmission.

Mazda’s engineers have tirelessly worked improving build quality, reduce noise, vibration and harshness to create the perfect ride for consumers.

Updated 2017 Mazda 6 models are expected to launch in September at least in the United States and will follow suit shortly after in GCC regions with an unconfirmed price.
