Rejoice, Mazda’s nippy little 2017 MX-5 is receiving a special edition limited to just 1,000 units. Now stop jumping up and down unless you live in the States as this model is exclusively available for North American Customers.
Price tags are to follow in the next coming months as these Launch Edition models are set to plant a smile on their owner’s faces in the first quarter of 2017. Models are available in two trims; Club and Grand Touring each with their own unique options.
Known simply as the 2017 Mazda MX-5 RF Launch Edition, each model is coated in Machine Grey Metallic complemented with a black removable roof. Inside, each of the two seats is covered in high-grade Nappa beige leather with standard features including Bluetooth, air conditioning and cruise control.
Powering this roadster is the same 2.0-litre four cylinder petrol motor generating a respectable 155 horsepower. Mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox, 0-100 is achieved in a mere 5.8 seconds and sails to a top speed of 207 km/h.
Lucky customers who get their hands on one of these unique creations also receive a matching custom designed and numbered wrist watch to match their vehicle.
