2017 Mitsubishi Lancer gets special edition

Just before the model is discontinued, 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer sedans get a new trim level known as Limited Edition. Adding plenty of features inside and out, it’s a fitting end.

Exterior styling cues consist of 16-inch rims finished in black as well as a multitude of components covered in the dark shade including the roof, grille, mirror caps and fender highlights. There is also a Limited Edition badge stuck to the rear end.

Inside, Limited Edition 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer models are fitted with black fabric seats with red seats with an identical palette covering the rest. There’s also a sunroof, black headliner, aluminium pedals, gloss black finish for the centre console and a 6.5-inch infotainment display for the rear camera. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also included.

2017 Mitsubishi Lancer Limited Edition models will be available throughout the model year. In the US, a single unit will cost $20,660 or AED 75,885.

It’s unconfirmed as of yet if this model will be made available across the GCC. Seeing as how popular the model is, it would come as a surprise if we didn’t see it made available. In case by some chance, it doesn’t make it to the UAE; you could always import one.

Mitsubishi Lancer models are said to be discontinued after the 2017 model with select markets receiving no successor in sight whereas other markets will replace the sedan with the Lancer Fortis.

Before the model is axed, we’ve got new Mitsubishi Lancer and used Mitsubishi Lancer for sale in Dubai, Ajman, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
