2018 Porsche Cayenne hits the gym

As next-gen Porsche Cayenne vehicles have been spotted testing somewhere in Europe. Reports suggest that 2018 models are hitting the gym and getting their summer bodies in check, by shedding as much as 200 kilos!

All those kgs that have been shed enable the new Cayenne to be more fuel-efficient and improves handling, although the latter may not need much upgrading as it’s spot on in this generation. Not only has the exterior been caught testing, but the snaps of the interior also surfaced a few months ago too.

With zero buttons or dials mounted vertically, one enlarged touchscreen interface takes up most of the surface area with air-con vents underneath. Horizontally mounted are similar buttons to current generation Cayenne’s with the gear lever reaming centrally mounted. Analogue instruments have been stripped out and replaced with digital versions for higher accuracy. Wedged in the middle, is an analogue rev counter, we’re not sure why that remained.

Sounds familiar right, that’s because the new dash and centre console has navigated its way into 2017 Porsche Panamera model’s which will go one sale in January 2017.
