2019 Hyundai Tucson debuts at NYAS

With the New York Auto Show now in full swing, it’s hard to choose a standout vehicle we’ve yet to see before. The 2019 Altima is on show as is the new Rav 4 and Santa Fe. Speaking of which, its sister model, the 2019 Hyundai Tucson is also showing off what’s new.

From the outside, the model is not radically different compared to the outgoing version. However, there are a few changes here and there. This includes the refreshed front grille, headlights, taillights and revised front and rear bumpers.

Inside, changes are slightly more obvious. The 2019 Hyundai Tucson features a 7-inch infotainment system complete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard this time around. It can also be had with Blue Link Connected Car on selected trim levels.

With that said, the 2019 Tucson will be sold in no less than five trims; Value, SE, SEL, Sport and Limited. SEL trims are fitted with 18-inch rims, while the rest can be had with 17- to 19-inch alloys rims. Limited models receive chrome trim while the Value and SE variants are exclusively available with a 2.0-litre motor. SEL, Sport and Limited are fitted with a 2.4-litre petrol engine.

Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox. Regarding power, the 2.0-litre unit pushes out 164 horsepower and 205 Nm of torque while the beefier 2.4-litre unit is good for 181 hp and 237 Nm of torque.

2019 Hyundai Tucson safety tech

No new car in this day and age is complete without a long list of safety features and the new Tucson is no different. Just to name a few optional safety features; Lane Keeping Assist, High Beam Assist, High Beam Assist, Forward Collision Avoidance and Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go and the list goes on.

The 2019 Hyundai Tucson will make its way to dealerships later this year.

Dubicars.com has new Hyundai Tucson and used Hyundai Tucson for sale in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman.
