Aston Martin tease 2019 Vantage

Covered from head-to-toe, Aston Marin has teased the 2019 Vantage which is set to debut later this year. As per usual, not a lot of information has been released about the model.

Set to be unveiled later this year, the model is plastered from head-to-toe in yellow and black camo. However, there are few crucial details visible to the naked eye.

For example, front headlights and grille are similar to that of the track only Aston Martin Vulcan. Moving along, you’ll notice the sloping windshield, front fender vents to suck in cool air, larger wheels and an enhanced braking system.

Around the back, as you would expect the model receives an aggressive rear end, large rear diffuser and a dual exhaust system to top it all off.

Not only will the 2019 Vantage borrow the DB11’s platform, but it will also utilise the AMG sourced 4-litre twin-turbo V8. It remains unclear if Aston Martin will detune the motor from 503 horsepower and 695 Nm of torque.

In its current form, the German sourced engine pushes DB 11 models to 100 km/h in 4 seconds and a top speed of 301 km/h.

No interior shots have been released. However, we expect the model to house luxurious sports seats and evidence of the AMG/Aston Martin partnership.

Rumour has it, the 2019 Vantage will utilise a trimmed down version of the DB 11’s aluminium platform. More details are expected to be revealed closer to its unveiling.
