2019 Mercedes CLS spotted with little camo

Once again, the 2019 Mercedes CLS saloon has been spotted in the wild and proves a radical change is not always the answer. Recently spotted in Germany, this particular CLS has barely any camouflage covering the exterior giving us a clearer picture of what’s to come.

There is a catch though, spy photographers stumbled across the model parked instead of on the road.

What’s new for the 2019 Mercedes CLS?

While not a radical change from its predecessor’s, a smaller sunroof is evident along with chrome exhaust tips sticking out of either side of the rear and a slender boot.

Inside, nothing short of premium leather covers the seating arrangements, traditional air conditioning outlets, tri-spoke multi-function steering wheel and dashboard while the centre column is highlighted by a larger multimedia screen similar to that of the S-Class.

Reports suggest the lineup will boast a wide range of unique drivetrains. This includes a four-cylinder engine rated at 295 horsepower, straight-six motor with 362 horsepower and an AMG tuned powerplant with hybrid technology rated at 429 horses.

As for diesel power units, entry-level models will benefit from a 241 four-cylinder unit and two inline-six cylinder units rated at 281 hp and 335 hp.

Power will continue to be set to the rear axle or all four wheels via a selection of automatic gearboxes.

2019 Mercedes CLS models are expected to be unveiled at this years Los Angeles Motor Show next month with sales commencing in 2018.

Dubicars.com has new Mercedes-Benz CLS and used Mercedes-Benz CLS for sale in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
