Is Aston Martin planning a hardcore GT12 Vantage

A few months ago, Aston Martin showed the world a one-off bespoke masterpiece that only one lucky person would have the pleasure of driving around. That seems not to be the case anymore as an aggressive looking Aston has been caught gobbling up the track.

Spotted on the Nurburgring coated in black camo, this particular model strikes up such a comparison that Aston Martin is certainly up to something they haven’t shared with the world yet. We do know that the vehicle they showed off at Goodwood was, in fact, a one of one Aston Martin GT 12 Vantage.

Avid Aston fans will immediately notice that the hood is borrowed from standard models, but with larger air intakes, unique side skirts and enlarged rear end further prove Aston could be up to something.

Looking for a powerful British-built supercar? Dubicars.com has used Aston Martin V12 Vantage for sale in Dubai.

If this model is to hit the market, you can expect it to be available in limited numbers with a hefty price tag on top of standard V12 roadsters.

Power will, of course, come from the company’s potent 5.9-litre V12 petrol motor powering the rear wheels. Rated at 592 horsepower, top speed is electronically capped just shy of 300 km/h, and it can zip from 0-100 km/h in under 4 seconds. Controlling all that power is a Sportshift III seven-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters behind the steering wheel.

As previously mentioned, a single version of this was shown off and was commissioned by a wealthy customer. We guarantee that individual won’t be to impressed if this version will hit the market with 99 others like it.
