BMW M760i drops by LA Motor Show to steal the show

It seems the majority of auto manufacturers are preparing smaller turbocharged petrol motors with four, six or eight cylinders there are still a handful of brands building the V12 to keep fans happy. The BMW M760i is one of those vehicles.

With the brand’s sturdy xDrive system powering all four wheels, power is drawn for a massive 6.6-litre V12 petrol motor rated at 600 horsepower and 800 Nm while mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox

Alternatively, Alpina’s latest offerings also produces the exact same amount of power except from a 4.4-litre V8 petrol motor with turbo induction, but that doesn’t give you bragging rights when your friends ask you how many cylinders are underneath the bonnet.

The BMW M760i does cost less than the 2017 B7 and is equipped with Alpina markings except for the badges, different rims, upgraded brake system to slow down the beast, high-grade leather covering each of the seats. Plus all of the luxurious options you could ever want in an exclusive sedan including vacuum doors, ceramic inserts and the brands latest media system.

For those looking for an extra dose of luxury in the form of legroom, an Li version is available too.

With the Audi A8 no longer available with a V12, the BMW M760i only has one rival out there on the road which is non-other than the opulent Mercedes-Benz S600 which is technically available as a coupe and convertible giving its arch rival an upper hand.
