Hyundai introduce the 2019 Veloster and Veloster Turbo

Hyundai has announced what to expect with the all-new 2019 Veloster. Revealed earlier this year, the quirky three-door hatchback receives a bold front-grille, enlarged re-diffuser and a variety of options.

Entry level 2019 Veloster’s draw power from a 2.0-litre petrol engine good for 147 horsepower. Front-wheel drive is standard, and customers can choose either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.

Turbo variants make do with a 1.6-litre four-cylinder rated at 201 hp and as with the base model, it can be had with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch unit with paddle shifters.

Of the two, the Turbo is, of course, the quicker that is before the N version is unleashed. It also has an aggressive setup complete with unique springs, dampers and a pair of larger stabiliser bars front and back all of which improves body control. It also benefits from a quicker steering ratio and reworked steering calibration.

All variants are equipped with Torque Vectoring Control (VTC) which works in conjunction with the electronic stability control (ESC) and powertrain control systems.

Standard equipment all around for the 2019 Veloster

As standard, all 2019 Veloster models are offered with a wide range of active safety systems including Lane Keep Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist and more.

They all receive a premium entertainment system complete with a seven-inch display with Apple Car-Play and Android Auto as standard. Additionally, Hyundai is offering a larger eight-inch touchscreen unit with HD radio and Blue-Link LTE-powered connectivity features.

Dubicars.com has new Hyundai Veloster and used Hyundai Veloster for sale in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
