Hyundai teases 2019 Santa Fe SUV

Instead of showcasing the 2019 Santa Fe at this year’s Detroit Motor Show, the Hyundai decided to release a handful of images of the upcoming model.

Borrowing styling cues from the recent Kona model, the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe shows off sleek headlights flanking either side of the new grille. Around the back, a sharp pair of taillights is evident along with a number of chrome highlights. Underneath, a bright diffuser shines brightly with two unique exhaust outlets either side along with a small spoiler hanging over the rear window.

Its side profile gives off a futuristic style with angular rear windows and a sloping roofline.

Powertrains remain a mystery although we can safely say both petrol and diesel will be sold around the world. A plug-in hybrid wouldn’t surprise us and would be a welcomed option.

What’s inside the 2019 Santa Fe?

Hyundai themselves are said to implement a wide variety of interior changes for the next generation of Santa Fe models. They will also increase rear legroom and headroom with both the five- and seven-seat configurations will continue.

Hyundai has yet to comment on when we’ll see the new Santa Fe in reality. With the Geneva Motor just over a month away, we wouldn’t be surprised to see the reworked on SUV at the show.

Dubicars.com has new Hyundai Santa Fe and used Hyundai Santa Fe for sale in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman.
