Lamborghini Huracan Performante Roadster spied

We’ve already caught a glimpse of the Performante Huracan munching up the track, but this time this there’s a soft fabric roof on this Lamborghini Huracan Performante Roadster.

Obviously, the roof is new, but there are minor tweaks underneath. As the hardtop roof has been replaced, theLamborghini Huracan Performante Roadster weighs in heavier as the chassis is reinforced.

However, it will retain all the aggressive additions we’ve seen before including the massive rear spoiler and motorised aero flaps.

Power is drawn from a 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 which is truly a last of its kind as many of Lamborghini’s rivals have opted for smaller turbocharged motors.

631 horsepower is said to scream out of the rear end of the Lamborghini Huracan Performante Roadster leading to a quick 100 km/h drag with the hard-top model pushing 2.9 seconds.

When we first heard of the Lamborghini Huracan Performante, the Italian brand didn’t reveal just how quick it lapped the ring. That information has now been released with Lamborghini announcing a 6:52 lap time of the Nurburgring.

To put it in perspective, that’s seven seconds quicker than the Aventador SV and five seconds faster than the Porsche 918 Spyder. The latter currently holds the lap record proving how powerful the Performante is.

More information on both models will be revealed later this year and are fingers are crossed we’ll see an undisguised at one of the many motor show’s later this year.
