New Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet debuts in Geneva

With the Coupe version already available, Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet models shine brightly in Geneva as they are the latest models in the German camp to be updated.

Striking up a similar resemblance to the smaller C-Class and larger S-Class with noticeable differences being the headlights, front end and rear, the E-Class lineup now offers five unique body styles.

Those of you interested in an E-Class Cabriolet can select from three unique roof options all for which are soft tops. Dark brown, dark blue or dark red. All of the three can be retracted and raised in just over 20 seconds at speeds of up to 50 km/h.

Mercedes hasn’t clarified what engines will power the rear or all four wheels. However, we predict a similar lineup to the readily available coupe and sedan versions with an excellent selection of four and six-cylinder motors.

Automatic will be the gearbox of choice with top tier models receiving the brands token 9G-Tronic nine-speed automatic gearbox.

Interior specifications stay true to the coupe models with the only addition being neck warmers added to the front seats of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet. Air-conditioning vents also appear redesigned with a futuristic and deep look.

Mercedes hasn’t released any pricing info or a release date. Seeing as the vehicle is pretty much production ready, we’ll see it in showrooms before the end of the year.

Until then, we’ve got a wide selection of new Mercedes-Benz E-Class and used Mercedes-Benz E-Class for sale in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi.
