Summary

This Range Rover Evoque Dynamic offers a rare 3-door 'Coupe' silhouette that remains one of the most striking designs in the GCC used market. While its mileage is higher, reflecting typical long-distance commutes between Emirates, the GCC-spec petrol powertrain is built to handle local heat far better than imported equivalents. The Dynamic trim provides a sharper, more aggressive aesthetic compared to the base models, making it a standout choice for style-conscious buyers. As a black-on-black SUV, it occupies a high-demand niche for resale value in the region. For those seeking the Range Rover badge and off-road DNA in a compact, city-friendly package, this vehicle remains a highly relevant contender.

This Car vs Other 2013 Range Rover Evoques

At 289,800 km, this vehicle has served as a consistent long-distance runner, which is common for GCC-based cars of this age. While the mileage is higher than average, the 3-door configuration is significantly rarer in the UAE than the 5-door version, adding a layer of exclusivity. Its black exterior is a perennial favorite for resale in the local market, ensuring it stays desirable even as it matures.

DYNAMIC vs Lower Trims

The Dynamic trim elevates the Evoque with a sportier body kit, squared-off exhaust tips, and unique 20-inch alloy wheels that are not standard on the Pure trim. Inside, you benefit from upgraded perforated leather sports seats and the premium Meridian sound system, features that are highly valued by GCC buyers during long highway drives. It also features a more aggressive suspension tuning compared to the softer setup found in the entry-level variants.

Range Rover Evoque vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the BMW X1 or Audi Q3 of the same era, the Evoque leads with genuine off-road heritage, featuring the Terrain Response system which includes a dedicated Sand mode for weekend desert escapes. While rivals often offer road-biased AWD, the Land Rover’s 210mm ground clearance provides superior versatility for regional terrain. The 3-door 'Coupe' body style also offers a level of design-led presence that its more utilitarian German competitors lack.

Running Costs & Resale

The 2.0L turbocharged engine is optimized for high-octane petrol available across the GCC, with a combined fuel consumption of approximately 8.7 L/100km. Maintenance is supported by an extensive network of authorized service centers and specialized independent garages throughout the UAE and Saudi Arabia. While European luxury SUVs see higher depreciation than Japanese workhorses, the Evoque Dynamic’s iconic styling helps it retain a loyal buyer base in the secondary market.

Performance & Capability

With 240 hp and 340 Nm of torque, this SUV manages a respectable 0–100 km/h time of 7.6 seconds, ensuring confident overtaking on fast-moving highways like the E11. The All-Wheel Drive system is paired with Land Rover's signature Terrain Response, allowing the driver to optimize the car for sand, mud, or gravel at the touch of a button. Despite its compact dimensions, it maintains a top speed of 217 km/h, providing plenty of capability for trans-emirate travel.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a blend of premium materials and tech, featuring an 8-inch touchscreen and dual-zone climate control with dedicated rear vents essential for the GCC summer. The 3-door layout still provides a full 5-seat capacity, wrapped in high-quality leather with contrast stitching unique to the Dynamic trim. Excellent sound insulation ensures the interior remains a quiet sanctuary even during high-speed highway cruising.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes a comprehensive suite of airbags, stability control, and traction control tuned for varied surfaces. The inclusion of rear parking sensors and a rearview camera helps mitigate the limited rear visibility inherent in the sporty 3-door design. Adaptive Xenon headlamps provide excellent illumination for nighttime desert driving, while the 4-star ANCAP safety rating ensures peace of mind for all occupants.

The bottom line

This is an ideal entry point for a buyer who prioritizes the iconic Range Rover aesthetic and 3-door exclusivity over low mileage. It represents a mechanically proven GCC-spec SUV that remains a head-turner in any city setting.
