Summary

This Nissan Patrol SE T2 is an ideal choice for families looking for a dependable GCC-spec 8-seater that balances everyday usability with genuine desert capability. As an 8-year-old vehicle with 130,000 km, its mileage sits comfortably within the expected average for the region, where long-distance highway commutes are the norm. The crisp white exterior is a strategic choice for the local market, offering the highest heat reflection and maintaining the strongest resale demand in the UAE. This model stands out for its unmatched 'Hero of All Terrains' reputation, providing a more spacious and approachable V6 alternative to the heavier V8 variants. For a buyer in the GCC, this listing represents a well-maintained entry into the prestigious Patrol family with all the essential comfort features already included.

This Car vs Other 2018 Patrols

With 130,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle has averaged roughly 16,000 km per year, which is significantly below the typical GCC annual average of 20,000–25,000 km. Its white exterior is a primary value driver in the local used market, ensuring better temperature regulation during summer and faster liquidity at resale. Compared to higher-mileage 2018 examples, this unit offers a more preserved mechanical baseline for long-term ownership.

SE T2 vs Lower Trims

The SE T2 trim provides a substantial equipment jump over the base XE, adding features that are essential for the GCC climate and lifestyle, such as a power sunroof and a remote engine starter to cool the cabin before entry. It also includes a powered tailgate and roof rails for added practicality, alongside an upgraded 8-inch infotainment display with integrated navigation that replaces the simpler units found in lower grades.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Toyota Land Cruiser 4.0L, the Patrol offers a noticeably more spacious third row and a larger 140-litre fuel tank, providing superior range for long desert expeditions or cross-border drives to Oman and Saudi Arabia. While rivals like the Chevrolet Tahoe offer similar seating, the Patrol leads the segment in off-road geometry and specialized sand-driving modes, making it the more versatile choice for weekend adventurers.

Running Costs & Resale

The 4.0L V6 delivers a real-world combined fuel consumption of approximately 11.8 L/100km, which is competitive for a full-size SUV in GCC stop-start traffic. Maintenance is straightforward and affordable thanks to Nissan's massive authorized service footprint across every major city in the UAE and wider Gulf. The Patrol remains one of the slowest-depreciating vehicles in the region, typically retaining a high percentage of its value due to its legendary status and the widespread availability of spare parts.

Performance & Capability

Equipped with a robust 275 hp V6 and a 7-speed automatic transmission, this Patrol handles highway overtaking with ease while remaining capable of a 3,500 kg braked towing capacity. The All-Wheel Drive system is complemented by a low-range transfer case and selectable terrain modes, allowing it to transition seamlessly from Dubai's asphalt to the red sands of Lehbab. Its 273 mm ground clearance ensures it can navigate high dunes and rocky wadis without hesitation.

Comfort & Cabin

The 8-seat configuration is designed for maximum family utility, featuring a powerful dual-zone climate control system with dedicated rear vents that are specifically engineered for 45°C+ summer peaks. The cabin is well-insulated from exterior heat and road noise, providing a refined environment for long-distance cruising between emirates. Convenience is further enhanced by a cooled center console (cool box), keeping drinks chilled during long drives.

Safety

This trim comes standard with a comprehensive safety suite including dual front, side, and curtain airbags, along with Vehicle Dynamic Control and Traction Control for stability on loose surfaces. The inclusion of front and rear parking sensors and a high-resolution rear-view camera makes maneuvering this large SUV in tight city spaces significantly safer and easier.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer who needs a reliable, white, 8-seater SUV that is equally at home at the mall or in the dunes, this below-average mileage Patrol SE T2 is a highly practical and value-stable investment.
