Summary

This 2019 Range Rover Vogue SE represents the sweet spot of the L405 generation, pairing the legendary 5.0L Supercharged V8 with a highly desirable GCC specification. Its Grey exterior is a top-tier choice for the local market, offering excellent heat reflection and strong resale value across the Emirates. With 510 hp on tap, it provides effortless highway overtaking and refined long-distance cruising that smaller-engined variants cannot match. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it features the heavy-duty cooling systems required to maintain peak performance during the peak summer months. For the serious buyer, this listing offers a significant power upgrade over the standard Vogue while maintaining a manageable mileage profile for its age.

This Car vs Other 2019 Range Rovers

While many 2019 models found in the market are the V6 or plug-in hybrid variants, this example features the full 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 powertrain preferred by GCC enthusiasts. Its mileage of approximately 102,000 km is well within the expected range for a luxury SUV in this region, where highway commuting often leads to higher annual use. The Grey exterior finish is a high-demand color in the UAE, ensuring it stays relevant and holds value better than niche or non-standard shades.

VOGUE SE vs Lower Trims

The Vogue SE trim is a significant step up from the base Vogue, most notably adding perforated Semi-Aniline leather seats that include both heating and cooling functions for both front and rear passengers. It also upgrades the audio experience to a premium Meridian Surround Sound system and introduces Terrain Response 2, which automatically optimizes vehicle settings for sand, rock, or gravel. You also gain 21-inch alloy wheels and a more comprehensive suite of driver aids like the 360-degree Parking Aid and Clear Exit Monitor.

Range Rover vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the BMW X7 or Mercedes-Benz GLS, the Range Rover leads in genuine off-road hardware, featuring a dedicated low-range transfer case and adjustable air suspension with up to 297 mm of ground clearance. Its 104-litre fuel tank provides superior range for cross-border drives to Oman or Saudi Arabia compared to the smaller tanks found in many road-biased European competitors. The iconic command driving position also offers better visibility in heavy Dubai traffic than its lower-slung rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 5.0L Supercharged V8 typically averages around 13.0 L/100km on the highway, rising in stop-start city traffic where the supercharger is more active. Service intervals are recommended every 12 months or 13,000 km at authorized Land Rover centers, which are widely available across all major GCC cities including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, and Kuwait City. As a GCC-spec Range Rover with the V8 engine, it benefits from a more stable depreciation curve than imported American or European spec alternatives.

Performance & Capability

The 510 hp supercharged engine delivers a top speed of 225 km/h, making it one of the most capable full-sized SUVs on the road. It features a braked towing capacity of 3,500 kg, ideal for transporting boats or horse trailers between emirates. The sophisticated Four-Wheel Drive system is complemented by Electronic Air Suspension, which can lower the vehicle for easy entry or raise it to wade through water depths of up to 900 mm.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of Semi-Aniline leather and Shadow Walnut veneers, designed to isolate occupants from the harsh GCC environment. The Four-zone Climate Control system ensures that all five passengers can manage their own temperature, while the standard ventilated seats are an essential feature for UAE summers. Acoustic laminated glass reduces wind and road noise significantly, maintaining a quiet environment even at high highway speeds.

Safety

Safety is managed by a comprehensive suite including Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, and Blind Spot Monitor, which is particularly useful on the fast-moving multi-lane highways of the UAE. The Vogue SE trim also includes the Park Pack, featuring 360-degree parking sensors and Rear Traffic Monitor to safely navigate tight parking spaces in malls. Combined with eight airbags and a high-strength aluminum monocoque, it offers top-tier occupant protection.

The bottom line

This is the ideal choice for a buyer who demands the prestige and power of the Supercharged V8 in a well-maintained, GCC-spec package. It offers the perfect balance of luxury features and mechanical durability for life in the Middle East.
