Summary

This 2022 Nissan Patrol NISMO is a premier choice for those seeking the ultimate blend of GCC-favored presence and track-inspired performance. With its hand-tuned V8 engine and aggressive aerodynamic kit, this model sits at the top of the Patrol hierarchy, offering a sharper driving experience than any of its rivals. The white exterior is the most sought-after color in the region, ensuring the highest possible resale strength and heat reflection during peak summer. While many SUVs in this class focus purely on comfort, the NISMO adds a layer of mechanical engagement that makes it a true enthusiast's daily driver. For a buyer in the GCC, owning a Patrol means unmatched parts availability and specialized service support across every emirate.

This Car vs Other 2022 Patrols

At 94,000 km, this vehicle sits within the expected mileage range for a high-performance SUV in the GCC, where long-distance highway commutes are standard. Its white finish is a major advantage for local resale, consistently outperforming darker shades in the used market. This specific 2022 example offers the modern interior updates of the second facelift while avoiding the steeper initial depreciation of a brand-new unit.

NISMO vs Lower Trims

The NISMO trim is far more than an aesthetic package, adding a 28 hp boost over the standard V8 and a specialized Bilstein suspension system for significantly flatter cornering. Inside, it replaces the standard leather with an exclusive Alcantara and carbon fiber-trimmed cabin, featuring the iconic red NISMO center-line steering wheel. It also includes 22-inch forged RAYS alloy wheels, which reduce unsprung weight to improve both handling and braking response compared to the Platinum trim.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

Against the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 and GMC Yukon Denali, the Patrol NISMO leads with its visceral, naturally aspirated V8 character and motorsport-tuned chassis. While the Land Cruiser focuses on off-road articulation, the NISMO is engineered for superior high-speed stability and road-holding on the UAE's vast highway network. Its 8-seat configuration offers greater family flexibility than many performance-oriented European rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the NISMO V8 typically averages between 16–18 L/100 km, though heavy city traffic and high AC usage in summer can push this higher. As a Japanese-spec import, it is essential to monitor cooling performance during the hottest months, though the Patrol's massive regional popularity ensures that parts and expert technicians are available in every corner of the GCC. The NISMO trim holds a significant price premium over standard trims, retaining roughly 10–15% more of its value annually compared to base V6 models.

Performance & Capability

The 5.6-litre V8 produces a meaty 428 hp, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 6.5 seconds—a remarkable feat for a vehicle of this scale. On the highway, the NISMO-tuned aerodynamics provide a 'zero lift' effect, making high-speed overtaking exceptionally stable and composed. While its lowered stance and 195 mm ground clearance prioritize on-road dynamics, the permanent All-Wheel Drive system ensures reliable traction across the region's diverse road surfaces and gravel tracks.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a masterclass in sporty luxury, featuring an 8-seat layout with dedicated rear climate control and roof-mounted vents to ensure all passengers stay cool in the Gulf heat. The NISMO-exclusive red and black interior uses premium materials that are designed to withstand the intensity of the local climate while providing excellent sound insulation. High-quality acoustic glass further separates the occupants from the outside environment during long cross-country drives.

Safety

Standard safety tech on this NISMO trim includes a 360° Around View Monitor, which is indispensable for navigating such a large SUV into tight city parking spaces. It features a full ADAS suite with Intelligent Emergency Braking and Pedestrian Detection, alongside Blind Spot Warning to assist in fast-moving multi-lane traffic. The combination of its robust body-on-frame construction and a comprehensive airbag system provides a high level of passive protection for all eight occupants.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own the flagship of the Patrol range in its most desirable color, perfectly suited for a buyer who demands presence and performance without sacrificing family practicality.
