Summary

This 2024 Ford Territory Trend offers a modern and tech-focused SUV experience that has quickly become a favorite across the GCC for its practicality and road presence. With mileage that reflects typical annual use for the region, this Panther Black example benefits from high local resale demand due to its professional and sleek appearance. It stands out from rivals by offering a more powerful 1.8L EcoBoost engine compared to many entry-level competitors, providing better confidence on fast-moving highways. For any GCC buyer, the extensive authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia ensures that maintenance and parts remain accessible and straightforward. This specific listing represents a strong balance of recent model-year technology and proven regional suitability.

This Car vs Other 2024 Territorys

With approximately 59,423 km, this vehicle's usage aligns with the GCC's higher-than-average annual driving patterns, where highway commutes are routine. Choosing a black exterior is a strategic move for the local market, as it remains one of the top three colors for value retention and resale speed. This example provides a modern 2024 specification while avoiding the higher depreciation typically seen in brand-new showroom units.

TREND vs Lower Trims

The Trend trim is a significant step up from the base Ambiente, adding essential GCC comforts like dual-zone automatic temperature control to handle peak summer heat. It also introduces the 12.3-inch digital infotainment touchscreen and rear parking sensors, which are highly valued by local buyers. While the base model focuses on essentials, the Trend adds the premium look of alloy wheels and LED fog lamps that improve both aesthetics and visibility.

Territory vs Segment Rivals

The Territory leads many segment rivals, such as the MG RX5 and Changan Uni-T, by utilizing a larger 1.8L turbocharged engine that delivers superior torque for easier overtaking on 140 km/h highways. Its 60-litre fuel tank is well-sized for long-distance travel between Emirates, offering a generous range compared to smaller-capacity competitors. The cabin is also notably wider, providing better shoulder room for three adult passengers in the rear.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel consumption is efficient for its class, with a manufacturer-rated 15.6 km/L, though real-world GCC city traffic typically sees figures closer to 8.2 L/100km. Service intervals are recommended every 10,000 km, and Ford's massive presence in the region means authorized centers are available in every major city. The Territory has shown stable value retention in the UAE, typically depreciating at a competitive rate of 15-20% in its first two years.

Performance & Capability

The 1.8L EcoBoost engine produces a healthy 190 hp and 320 Nm of torque, paired with a smooth 7-speed automatic transmission designed for effortless cruising. It handles long desert highway drives with refinement, keeping cabin noise low even at higher speeds. While designed primarily for the road, its front-wheel-drive setup and selectable drive modes provide consistent stability on the occasional gravel track or sandy parking area common in the region.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the 5-seat layout is focused on space, featuring high-quality vinyl trim that is durable and easy to clean in dusty environments. The dual-zone climate control is engineered for the Middle Eastern climate, ensuring the cabin stays cool even when temperatures exceed 45°C. Technology is a highlight, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration allowing for seamless navigation through Dubai or Riyadh traffic.

Safety

This Trend trim comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite, including Electronic Stability Control and Traction Control to maintain grip on varied road surfaces. Standard features like the rearview camera and rear parking sensors make maneuvering in tight urban spaces much safer. Multiple airbags and ISOFIX child seat anchors ensure that family safety is prioritized, meeting the high standards expected by modern GCC SUV buyers.

The bottom line

Perfect for a young family or a professional seeking a tech-integrated SUV that is still under its prime operational window, this GCC-spec Trend trim is a smart, market-ready choice.
