Summary

This 2024 Nissan Patrol represents the final model year for the naturally aspirated V8 powertrain, making it a highly sought-after listing for enthusiasts who value legendary mechanical simplicity. With 63,000 km, the mileage is perfectly aligned with the high-usage patterns typical of the GCC, where these vehicles are built to handle intensive highway commuting. The white exterior is the gold standard for resale in the region, offering maximum heat reflection and strong value retention. As the top-tier LE Platinum City trim, this SUV bridges the gap between rugged desert capability and executive comfort, standing as a more durable alternative to European luxury rivals. For a GCC buyer, this is the ultimate opportunity to own the last of the big-displacement V8 icons with a proven regional specification.

This Car vs Other 2024 Nissan Patrols

At 63,000 km, this vehicle has been actively enjoyed across the region's highways, which is standard for a full-size SUV in the GCC where annual averages often reach 25,000 km. While many listings may show lower delivery mileage, this car’s usage demonstrates its reliability in real-world local conditions. The white finish further enhances its appeal, as it remains the most liquid color for resale in the UAE and Saudi Arabian markets.

LE PLATINUM CITY vs Lower Trims

The LE Platinum City trim is a significant step up from the Titanium, adding 22-inch machine-cut alloy wheels and premium quilted leather upholstery with a massage function for the driver. It introduces the full suite of technology that GCC buyers demand, including the 13-speaker Bose premium audio system and dual 10.1-inch rear entertainment screens. Critically for the local climate, this trim includes ventilated front seats and a more advanced 3-zone climate control system.

Nissan Patrol vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, the Patrol offers a more traditional naturally aspirated V8 power delivery that many local drivers prefer for its linear torque and cooling efficiency. It leads rivals like the Chevrolet Tahoe in interior material refinement and holds a massive advantage in regional parts availability and service support. The 140-litre fuel tank remains a class-leading feature, providing the range necessary for cross-border GCC road trips that smaller-tank competitors cannot match.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 5.6L V8 typically averages between 16 and 18 L/100km in mixed GCC driving, though this can rise to 20 L/100km in heavy stop-start city traffic with full air conditioning. Service intervals are recommended every 10,000 km or 6 months at authorized centers, which are extensively available across the UAE, KSA, and Oman. The Patrol maintains one of the highest resale values in the region, typically retaining 80-85% of its value after the first year, significantly outperforming European luxury SUVs.

Performance & Capability

The 400 hp V8 engine delivers 560 Nm of torque, providing effortless overtaking power on high-speed motorways like E11. Equipped with Hydraulic Body Motion Control (HBMC), this Patrol remains remarkably flat through corners despite its size, offering superior comfort on long desert hauls. Its advanced 4WD system with selectable terrain modes (Sand, On-road, Snow, Rock) ensures it is as capable on a weekend dune drive as it is in downtown traffic.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is configured for eight passengers, featuring a spacious third row that is genuinely usable for adults during family outings. Thermal comfort is prioritized with a high-capacity AC system designed specifically for 45°C+ summer peaks, supported by rear cooling vents and a cooled center console box. The interior is insulated with acoustic glass, ensuring a quiet environment that shields passengers from road noise and desert winds.

Safety

This flagship trim includes a comprehensive ADAS suite featuring Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Intervention, and Lane Departure Prevention, which are essential for navigating fast-moving multi-lane highways. The 360° Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection makes parking this large SUV effortless in tight urban spaces. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a full array of front, side, and curtain airbags to ensure maximum occupant protection.

The bottom line

This is a prime opportunity to secure the final V8 iteration of a GCC legend, combining the highest available luxury spec with a color and regional pedigree that guarantees long-term value.
