Summary

The 2026 ROX 01 Standard enters the market as a high-tech alternative to established luxury off-roaders, offering a unique Extended-Range Electric Vehicle (REEV) powertrain that eliminates range anxiety. With 476 hp and all-wheel drive, it delivers effortless performance whether you are navigating Dubai’s fast-moving highways or exploring desert tracks. Its Glacier White exterior is a top-tier choice for the GCC, ensuring excellent heat reflection and maintaining a strong resale profile in the regional used market. For buyers seeking the technology of a modern EV with the long-distance refueling convenience of a petrol car, this SUV bridges the gap perfectly. As a new 2026 model, it features the latest software and hardware refinements currently leading the smart SUV segment in the region.

This Car vs Other 2026 ROX 01s

Being a brand-new 2026 model, this vehicle carries the latest powertrain calibration and software updates available for the ROX platform. Its low mileage represents a significant advantage over 2024 or 2025 units, offering a virtually fresh mechanical life and maximum battery health. In the GCC market, the Glacier White finish is the most sought-after color, providing superior thermal management in summer heat and the highest liquidity at resale.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The Standard trim on the ROX 01 is exceptionally well-equipped, featuring the dual-motor all-wheel-drive system and the 56.01 kWh battery as standard hardware. Unlike more basic configurations, this trim includes the full 15.7-inch 3K touchscreen and the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster powered by the Snapdragon 8155 processor. It also retains the premium 14-speaker surround sound system and high-strength steel body construction found in the flagship variants.

ROX 01 vs Segment Rivals

The ROX 01 competes directly with the Li Auto L8 and the AITO M7, standing out with its more rugged, off-road biased design. While rivals focus primarily on city comfort, the ROX offers a superior 700 mm wading depth and dedicated terrain modes (Sand, Mud, Snow, Rock) specifically suited for weekend adventures in the GCC. Its 70-litre fuel tank provides a significant range advantage for long cross-border drives compared to pure battery-electric competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

The REEV powertrain offers a fuel efficiency profile that excels in GCC stop-start traffic, where the electric motors handle low-speed movement. Authorized service centers are now established in major hubs like Dubai, Riyadh, and Jeddah, with regional hubs ensuring next-day fulfillment for key spare parts. While Chinese luxury SUVs are newer to the market, the ROX 01 has shown strong initial value retention in the UAE, often holding better than 85% of its value after the first year due to high demand for the EREV tech.

Performance & Capability

With a combined output of 476 hp and 740 Nm of torque, the ROX 01 accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds, providing sports-car levels of overtaking power on the highway. The sophisticated e-AWD system manages torque across all four wheels, ensuring stability on gravel and sand surfaces. Its 205 mm ground clearance and 45-degree climbing capability make it a genuine all-terrain vehicle, rather than a typical road-biased crossover.

Comfort & Cabin

This 5-seater configuration maximizes rear legroom and cargo space, providing a 544-litre boot that is ideal for family camping gear. The cabin is designed for the GCC climate with a powerful three-zone AC system, PM2.5 monitoring, and standard ventilated and massaging front seats. Acoustic glass ensures the interior remains a quiet sanctuary, effectively insulating passengers from exterior heat and wind noise during high-speed cruising.

Safety

Standard safety features include a high-strength 87% steel body structure and a comprehensive ADAS suite featuring adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring for safe highway transit. The 360-degree HD camera system is indispensable for parking this 5.3-meter SUV in tight urban spaces. It also includes 9 airbags and stability control systems optimized for both high-speed asphalt and loose sand conditions.

The bottom line

For the modern GCC family who wants the tech-forward experience of a Li Auto but the rugged capability of a Defender, this 2026 ROX 01 is a smart, future-proof choice.
