Summary

This 2026 ROX 01 VIP offers a compelling blend of range-extended electric power and luxury, making it an ideal choice for the GCC’s unique driving landscape. As an EREV, it provides the silent, immediate torque of an EV for city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh, while the 1.5-liter generator eliminates range anxiety for long-distance cross-border drives. The VIP trim stands out with its executive 6-seat configuration, featuring aviation-grade second-row chairs that are a significant step up in comfort. With zero mileage and a high-demand white exterior, this listing represents a prime entry point into a new era of intelligent, family-focused SUVs. For a UAE buyer, the local spare parts hub in Jebel Ali ensures that owning this cutting-edge Chinese regional spec comes with practical long-term support.

This Car vs Other 2026 ROX 01s

With zero mileage, this 2026 model represents a factory-fresh opportunity in the GCC market, where high annual highway use typically sees mileage climb quickly. The white exterior is a strategic choice for this region, offering the best heat reflection and the strongest resale potential across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. As a 2026 model, it benefits from the latest software refinements for its dual-motor AWD system and battery management.

VIP vs Lower Trims

The VIP trim is the definitive choice for those prioritizing passenger comfort, replacing the standard 7-seat bench with two premium second-row aviation chairs. These captain seats include multi-way power adjustment, heating, ventilation, and massage functions, features that are essential for high-temperature summers. Additionally, the VIP interior adds higher-grade materials and the 15.6-inch rear entertainment screen as standard, ensuring a first-class experience for family or executive use.

ROX 01 vs Segment Rivals

The ROX 01 leads its segment with a combined range of over 1,100 km, significantly outpacing traditional petrol rivals like the Land Cruiser in total touring distance between refills. Its EREV powertrain offers a more refined, vibration-free cabin experience than the Li Auto L8, while the standard 700 mm wading depth and dedicated off-road modes make it more capable for weekend adventures than pure road-biased luxury crossovers. The 740 Nm of instant torque provides superior highway overtaking compared to naturally aspirated V6 competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the range extender is approximately 7.95L/100km, which is remarkably efficient for a vehicle of this size in GCC stop-start traffic. Maintenance is simplified as the 1.5L engine operates at consistent, low-stress RPMs, and ROX has established a major parts hub in Jebel Ali to ensure next-day fulfillment across the UAE. While newer to the market, early value retention is bolstered by growing brand awareness and the local manufacturing presence in Abu Dhabi, which acts as a strong trust signal for regional buyers.

Performance & Capability

A 0-100 km/h time of just 5.5 seconds allows this full-size SUV to outpace many sports sedans, providing effortless merging onto fast-moving GCC highways. The dual-motor AWD system includes a specialized 'Dune Mode' for sand driving, supported by a respectable 205 mm ground clearance and a 700 mm wading depth for rain-heavy winter months. Its 70-liter fuel tank works in tandem with the 56 kWh battery to provide a worry-free 1,115 km total range for long-haul desert journeys.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is centered around six-seat luxury, featuring ventilated and massaging seats in the first two rows to combat the extreme regional heat. A tri-zone climate control system with dedicated rear vents ensures the third row remains cool, while acoustic glass provides a quiet sanctuary from desert wind noise. The technology suite is led by a 15.7-inch 3K central touchscreen and a premium audio system, creating a modern digital cockpit suited for both daily commutes and long family road trips.

Safety

The ROX 01 VIP comes standard with a comprehensive L2+ ADAS suite, including adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist, which are invaluable for the long highway stretches between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Blind-spot monitoring and a 360-degree high-definition camera system provide peace of mind in dense city traffic, while the high-strength body structure and multiple airbags provide robust protection for all six occupants. The inclusion of a 9-inch streaming media rearview mirror ensures clear visibility even when the luggage area is fully loaded.

The bottom line

For the modern GCC family looking to bridge the gap between EV technology and long-range reliability, this zero-km ROX 01 VIP offers a high-spec, luxury-first solution that is ready for both the city and the sand.
