2017 Lamborghini Aventador spotted

Lamborghini has already put their upcoming hardcore Lamborghini Huracan to the test in the twisty mountains of Germany. As it may seem, it’s older brother feel left out from all the fun. That’s not the case anymore.

As Lamborghini are currently testing the next generation Lamborghini Aventador. Also spied somewhere in Europe and with its roof down to soak in that glorious weather, evidently aero aspects of the vehicles are brand new.

Most notably are the front and rear bumpers with enlarged air intakes. Around the back, you may notice the rear diffuser is borrowed from the upcoming Huracan Superleggera.

Aero upgrades aren’t the only properties expected to be on show; Lamborghini could turn their attention to what is mounted in the rear. Already, the 6.5-litre V12 petrol motor generates an already healthy 700 horsepower. In current trim 0-100 km/h is achieved in around 2.9 seconds which is ludicrously quick.

As for the upcoming models, the Italian manufacturer could add an extra 20 to 30 horsepower to the total. They have also upgraded the chassis to cope with the enhancements. Inside, Lamborghini is to implement their latest media system and improved digital displays for the dashboard cluster.

Expect the final production model to strip off its camouflage in October alongside the Superleggera Huracan in October with an unannounced price. Even though the vehicle has been spied in roadster form, the closed roof version will receive identical upgrades.
