2017 Porsche Panamera long wheelbase confirmed

With the all-new Panamera launching later this year, Porsche is already preparing their lineup to cater to those who want a touch more class with the brand’s recent announcement of confirming the 2017 Porsche Panamera long wheelbase model.

Extended by 150 mm’s, the executive sedan now measures in at 3,100 mm and allows rear passengers to stretch their legs a pinch more on either side of the now larger rear media console.

To add to the luxury, Porsche offers buyers an optional rear entertainment package inclusive of high definition 10.1-inch touchscreen displays and rear fold out tables.

Options don’t stop there as the sophisticated four-door is equipped with a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, navigation, Bluetooth, multi-zone climate control, adaptive air suspension, soft-closing doors, LED adaptive headlights and rear axle steering.

Now it may not be an entirely new vehicle in the stable; however, the model can now be equipped with the new entry-level turbocharged V6 petrol engine that now pumps out an extra 20 horsepower compared to last generation models.

All-wheel drive is standard on all 2017 Porsche Panamera long wheelbase models whereas the V6 is available across the board including the rear wheel drive versions.

Porsche hasn’t confirmed how much the 2017 Porsche Panamera long wheelbase model will cost or its availability. We expect it to arrive alongside the standard models early 2017 in GCC countries with other markets receiving them slightly earlier.
