Another Porsche Panamera model revealed

After the recently announced long-wheel base version and extra coats of paint available for the upcoming sportier Porsche Panamera another piece of fantastic news has been confirmed by the German manufacturer that is sure to put a smile on many of our faces.

Dr Gernot Dollner, the product line director of the Porsche Panamera, confirmed that the previously rumoured shooting brake or wagon style body would be made available in the next generation.

Shown off way back in 2012 as a concept model, this additional body style adds the moniker of Sport Turismo to the name. Expect the upcoming model to be drastically different in comparison to sedan models with an elongated roof and unique rear spoiler which will be fixed.

Rear headroom increases with the extended roof in play, identical cabin materials and options to regular models will be made available in these models along with the recently announced packages including optional high definition rear-TV screens hooked up to a DVD player and two-tone leather interiors.

2017 Porsche Panamera models are set to launch in January 2017 in the UAE and surrounding countries with a starting price of AED 483,700.

Sport Turismo models are said to be shown off at the upcoming Paris Motor show in October with an unconfirmed powertrain and engine. However, you can expect similar engines and drivetrains that the German manufacturer will drop in sedan models.
