Aston Martin DB 11 S snapped on track

Bentley may have their most powerful version of the Continental GT Supersports on the way, Aston Martin has something for them and is working hard to create a worthy rival with the DB 11 S.

This version won’t be powered by the AMG sourced V8 which in turn is set to power the “baby” DB 11’s, instead, the DB 11 S will retain the V12 with an extra kick.

Similar to that of the Vanquish and the Vanquish S, we expect Aston Martin to squeeze out an additional 30 to 50 horsepower on top of the 610 horses already running through its veins.

Power isn’t the only difference between the DB 11 and DB 11 S,  spy shots show off larger intakes along with a tweaked front end giving this version increased aggression.

Coupled with additional pieces of body work attached to the rear end, S variants sit slightly lower with stiffer, lower suspension too enabling the model to hug the corners. It’s worth mentioning, black alloys bolted to each corner appear larger than the current DB 11.

Aston Martin has yet to reveal how much of a premium you’ll have to pay to get your hands on a DB 11 S. A release date or even a motor show debut has yet to be spoken of too. Although later this year or early 2018 doesn’t seem too far fetched.

Saying that Bentley hasn’t pinned down a date for their Supersports coupe either. Who do you think will strike first?

Dubicars has used Aston Martin DB 11 for sale in Dubai.

  1. Hi

I have a V8 Vantage Volante 2008 and am thinking of exporting it to Spain when I leave Dubai next March.

I’ve owned the car for over 2 years by then and would have moved outside the EU for over 4 years so believe there is no vat or import duty to pay as I’m importing the car from outside the EU.

However, when I asked the RTA for a sample of the expiry certificate they seemed to suggest that it isn’t possible to obtain a certificate of the car is over 5 years old?

Do you know anything about any of this at all, please?

I have several quotes from shipping companies but mine can offer advice for Spain.

    Many thanks

    Chariie
