BMW reportedly working on an M2 Competition Package

While BMW may be working hard on SUV’s and their joint venture with Toyota to create the next iteration of the Z4, all of which have certainly been hogging the limelight. Recent reports surfaced that they are working on select packages to further enhance current models with the M2 Competition Package shining brightly.

Next to nothing is known about the M2 Competition package with the only shred of information detailing is that it will be available as an optional extra to both manual and automatic models.

The vehicle is most likely to adopt the M2 CS moniker and will certainly feature unique enhancements to both the exterior and interior.

This certainly has been a long time coming as a few months ago; documents surfaced about BMW filing for CS patents for pretty much their entire lineup including the 8-Series.

Within the report, another M-series model is listed as a future product and will be part of the 3-series lineup. The BMW M340i as it is currently known as has not seen the light of day just yet. However, you can expect it to be a worthy adversary to the Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG and Audi S4/S5 models.

Not only were these two juicy bits of information concealed within the report, it also went on to detail both the upcoming BMW X2 and X7 with the latter having its engines revealed before it debuts next month.

Dubicars.com has new BMW 2-Series and used BMW 2-Series for sale in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
