Summary

This Nissan Patrol SE Platinum City is a standout choice for GCC buyers, combining rugged off-road hardware with premium urban styling. With 91,438 km over 7 years, the mileage is impressively low for a regional family SUV, where long-distance commutes often double this figure. The classic White exterior remains the most sought-after color in the UAE and Saudi markets, ensuring easier resale and superior heat reflection. As a top-tier V6 trim, it offers the perfect balance of prestige features and manageable running costs compared to the larger V8. In a market where reliability is king, the Patrol remains a primary choice for its durability and strong local parts availability.

This Car vs Other 2019 Nissan Patrols

At 91,438 km, this vehicle has averaged approximately 13,000 km per year, which is significantly lower than the GCC average of 20,000–25,000 km for full-size SUVs. This lower usage suggests less wear on the mechanical components and interior surfaces, providing a distinct advantage over higher-mileage alternatives. The White exterior is the strongest resale color in the region, ensuring this car remains highly liquid in the used market.

SE PLATINUM CITY vs Lower Trims

The SE Platinum City is the range-topping V6 variant, adding significant luxury over the standard SE and Titanium trims. It introduces the 'City Bumper' for a more sophisticated look, alongside 20-inch machine-cut alloy wheels and premium quilted leather upholstery. Buyers also benefit from the Intelligent Around View Monitor and ventilated front seats, which are essential for maintaining comfort during peak summer months.

Nissan Patrol vs Segment Rivals

The Patrol leads the Toyota Land Cruiser in ride comfort thanks to its independent rear suspension, making it a better daily driver for urban environments like Dubai or Riyadh. Compared to the Chevrolet Tahoe, the Patrol offers superior off-road hardware, including a dedicated low-range transfer case. Its large fuel tank and extensive service network across the UAE and KSA make it more suitable for cross-border regional travel than most American or European rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

The 4.0L V6 engine typically returns a combined fuel consumption of 11.8 to 14.4 L/100km, making it a more economical choice for city traffic than the V8. As a GCC-spec model, it retains value exceptionally well, typically depreciating at just 8-12% annually compared to 15-20% for European luxury SUVs. Nissan's massive service footprint ensures that maintenance is affordable and parts are available in every major city across the Gulf.

Performance & Capability

Equipped with a robust 3,500 kg braked towing capacity, this Patrol is ready for hauling boats or trailers across the Emirates. The V6 engine provides a reliable 275 hp, paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission that is tuned for smooth highway cruising. For weekend adventures, the selectable four-wheel-drive system and high ground clearance allow it to navigate soft sand and desert tracks with confidence.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for seven passengers, featuring high-quality quilted leather and a dedicated rear cooling system with vents for all three rows. The Platinum City trim includes front-seat ventilation and a premium audio system, creating a refined atmosphere for long highway stretches. Acoustic glass and thick insulation help keep the cabin quiet and shielded from the intense external heat common in the region.

Safety

Standard safety tech on this trim includes Nissan's Intelligent Around View Monitor (360° camera) with moving object detection, which is vital for parking a vehicle of this size. It also features front, side, and curtain airbags, along with stability control and ABS. These systems provide essential protection during high-speed highway driving and ensure stability on unpredictable sand or gravel surfaces.

The bottom line

This is the ideal opportunity for a family seeking a prestige SUV with low mileage and the highest V6 specification available. Its GCC spec and popular color choice make it a safe, high-value investment in the current market.
