Summary

This 2025 Nissan Patrol represents the latest Y63 generation, offering a sophisticated leap in technology and road presence for the GCC market. With relatively low mileage for its first year and finished in a distinctive green, it provides a unique alternative to the common white and silver fleet. As a GCC-spec model, it is purpose-built to handle extreme summer temperatures with an air conditioning system that remains the gold standard in the region. The Patrol continues to be the preferred choice for families who require genuine eight-seat capacity without sacrificing off-road heritage. Ownership is supported by the most comprehensive service and parts network across the UAE and wider Middle East.

This Car vs Other 2025 Nissan Patrols

With just over 31,000 km, this vehicle has been driven slightly above the GCC annual average but remains in prime mechanical condition for a first-year Y63. The rare green exterior offers a standout aesthetic in a market dominated by neutral tones, potentially appealing to enthusiasts looking for a more personalized look. Its GCC-spec status ensures full warranty compatibility and cooling systems optimized for local heat.

SE T2 vs Lower Trims

The SE T2 trim introduces essential luxury and convenience features over the base XE, including a powered rear tailgate and a remote engine starter—a vital feature for pre-cooling the cabin during GCC summers. It also upgrades the interior with leatherette seating and adds a wireless phone charger and a frameless smart rear-view mirror for a more modern driving experience.

Nissan Patrol vs Segment Rivals

The Patrol competes directly with the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 and the Chevrolet Tahoe, leading the segment in total fuel capacity with its 98-litre tank for long-distance desert traverses. While rivals focus on smaller turbocharged units, the Patrol's V6 offers a balanced power delivery that has been specifically tuned for the heavy-duty demands of the Middle East. Its eight-seat configuration offers superior family flexibility compared to the seven seats found in many European competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the new V6 powertrain averages around 10.1 km/L, offering a significant improvement over the previous generation's V8 in GCC highway conditions. Maintenance is straightforward with 10,000 km service intervals and massive parts availability across every emirate. The Nissan Patrol remains one of the slowest-depreciating vehicles in the UAE, typically retaining 60-70% of its value after three years.

Performance & Capability

The 2025 Patrol features a reinforced chassis and a 3,500 kg braked towing capacity, making it a premier choice for hauling boats or trailers across the Emirates. With a minimum ground clearance of 244 mm, it handles soft sand and rocky wadis with the same confidence as it does the E11 highway. The new 9-speed automatic transmission ensures smoother shifts and better torque management than the outgoing model.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for long-distance GCC road trips, featuring a generous 8-seat layout with dedicated climate control vents for every row. The SE T2 trim includes acoustic glass to isolate the interior from road noise and high-speed wind buffeting common on desert highways. Storage is ample, and the power liftgate makes loading family gear effortless during weekend getaways.

Safety

Standard safety features on this trim include Rear Seat Occupant Alert and a comprehensive airbag system designed for all three rows. The Patrol's heavy-duty body-on-frame construction provides a robust safety cell, complemented by front and rear parking sensors and a high-definition rearview camera to assist in tight city parking.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer seeking the latest in SUV technology with legendary reliability, this low-mileage 2025 Patrol SE T2 is a perfect family workhorse that will hold its value for years to come.
