Lamborghini snaps up Aventador S nameplate

The Italian brand is no stranger to the limelight at the moment with the Huracan Superleggera coming soon or the recently announced Huracan Spyder rear wheel drive. It’s about time they share the love with the Aventador which is exactly what their latest trademark suggests.

Just a few days ago, Lamborghini filed a patent for the Aventador S nameplate which leads us to believe the European powerhouse is planning on an enhanced model of its V12 supercar heading our way.

On top of the already powerful 750 horsepower, the Aventador S is said to pack and additional 20 to 40 horsepower extra, to place it between the standard model and SV version.

Looking to light up the streets of the UAE with a power V12 motor? We’ve got new Lamborghini Aventador and used Lamborghini for sale in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Lamborghini is currently testing a facelifted version of the beast, and it is expected that the Aventador S is to receive the same treatment as well as subtle touches borrowed from the fire breathing SV model including the air intakes and rear end.

Aventador S models are expected to pop up uncloaked at the Geneva Motor Show in 2017. With the current hybrid trend in effect, this could be the last naturally aspirated V12 built by the Italian brand with the possibility of either a downsized engine in its predecessor or an electric pairing.

No prices have been mentioned for the brands latest speedster. Seeing as it slots in between the two readily available models it will carry a price tag between the two.
