Mercedes C 63 Coupe R in the pipeline

Good news, Mercedes-Benz are working on a hardcore model besides the AMG GT R. Those who have been anticipating a hardcore version of the C 63 have got their wish as a Mercedes C 63 Coupe R is inbound.

What can you expect from the “track” inspired model? For starters, the vehicle will weight lighter than standard models; it will also feature unique exterior pieces including a larger rear spoiler, carbon fibre trim, fins attached to the front bumper, deeper grooves in the bonnet and unique rims.

Inside, we’d expect bucket racing seats making up the front row, steering wheel wrapped in Alcantara with carbon fibre trim and more of the lightweight material prominently on display all over the cabin.

The German powerhouse hasn’t exactly confirmed when we’ll see the Mercedes C 63 Coupe R on asphalt with most speculating that we’ll see the track derived model to debut in the next few years.

Unlike its country counterpart and their water-cooled BMW M4 GTS, Mercedes are said to offer the vehicle with two doors and four-door variants.

It will also sport an upgraded engine with experts claiming 600 horsepower to fire out of the rear end of the Mercedes C 63 Coupe R.

We’ve also noticed Mercedes have surprisingly dropped the Black Series badge in favour for the ‘R’ moniker is attaching itself to the brand’s performance-based models that exceed the AMG nameplate. Nothing is confirmed, though.

Until then, we’ve got new Mercedes-Benz C Class and used Mercedes-Benz C Class for sale in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman.
